MasterLAB is born, the new company of Master Group, specialized in research and project activities like: project of new products, improvement of the old ones, development and manufacture of prototypes, industrialization and automatization of production process.
MasterLAB has already started collaborating with Research Institutes as ITC-CNR and ISCcOS, with the objective to offer to the customers a fast and reliable service, also through the support of expert technicians and the forefront of technology and machinery.

Another important investment is the Test Laboratory, including 4 areas:

1) Test Area: equipped with machinery like the Salt Spray Chamber, to test the corrosion resistance of accessories and components (UNI EN 1670:2007).

2) Setting area: samples of the window frames are prepared for testing.

3) Area for cyclic mechanical-functional tests: tests on durability of hinges (UNI EN 1935:2004), handles, rollers, tilt and turn, arms and other accessories.

4) The Laboratory is completed by a test bench for window frames, consisting in a machinery for testing permeability, water and wind resistance (CE 14351-1:2006) and also in a system simulating the cycles of opening and closing on casement and sliding series, according the norm NI EN 13126 – B: 2006.

Certainly, the primary use of this test bench is to verify the performances of the window frames and profiles with Master accessories, but all this equipment will be very useful for all producers, because they will have the possibility to test the performances of their products before going to an official authorized laboratory and obtain the CE certification, reducing the risk of failure.
The tests will be also in collaboration with institutes like ITC-CNR and IRCcOS, according the Witness Testing, issuing test reports valid for CE marking.
